Urca is practically my backyard. I'm always there strolling, drawing, and painting.
For several years now I've been sketching anchored boats live. They convey such a sense of serenity to me.
I try to simplify the lines and details as much as possible so that they appear to be floating on the page of my sketchbook. In recent years I have also broadened my perspective to include other areas that have boats anchored, such as Paquetá Island.
