EXHIBITIONS & WORKSHOPS

Throughout his career, Celso Mathias has held numerous exhibitions that reveal the strength and versatility of his work. Each show presents a cross-section of his visual universes — oil paintings, gouache, dreamlike drawings, cultural icons, fantasy worlds, and creations spanning more than four decades of dedication to art.

In addition to exhibitions, Celso shares his knowledge through dynamic and in-depth workshops, in which he teaches his techniques, processes, and creative methods. These sessions offer participants the opportunity to learn directly from the artist, exploring everything from the fundamentals of drawing and painting to advanced approaches to composition, color, and visual storytelling.

The Exhibitions & Workshops page brings together these moments of exchange, inspiration, and learning.
A space where art is not only seen — but lived, practiced, and transformed.

Experiences for those who wish to immerse themselves in the creative universe of Celso Mathias.

EXPO CASA DA MATRIZ

In 2004, the first Fantastic Art exhibition took place. The venue was the nightclub Casa Da Matriz, a fitting place to house unusual beings in dreamlike worlds.
We invited some friends over and it was an amazing night.
Everything produced by Fernanda Japiassú.

ACRYLIC WORKSHOP

At Carla Rissatto's invitation, I gave my first workshop in 2011. The venue was Pollaco's tattoo studio, Carla's husband. She produced everything and it was a success.
We received over 20 students, all very eager to learn the acrylic painting technique that I have been developing for many years.

6th SP Tattoo

A huge tattoo event produced by Carla Rissatto and Pollaco, where I was invited to exhibit 15 paintings on the fair's mezzanine floor. The exhibition was produced by Fernanda Japiassú and involved two days of hard work and great success.

Acrylic Workshop & Exhibition

Workshop event and small exhibition held at the LADO B tattoo studio at the invitation of tattoo artist and owner Don Rodrigues and produced by his wife Maristela.
The workshop was a huge success, with all places filled and friends visiting the exhibition. Two wonderful days in São Paulo.
